When I was a kid after watching The Coal Miner's Daughter with my sister on VHS, I uncovered my passion for country music. From that point I knew I wanted to be a singer. I wrote my first song at 8. I entered Country Music Awards and won my first guitar at 12. I was involved in the Smoke Free Rock Quest, Television, Musicals, Jazz, Tap, B

I followed my dream and auditioned for a NZ children's television talent Show McDonalds Young Entertainers, I made the cut, I was only 15, from that moment on I've been hired for many wonderful, weird, and amazing gigs. My first paid singing engagement was for Sir Edmond Hillary I was only 16. I sung my first National Anthems for the ALL BLACKS and SPRINGBOKS rugby teams at 17. I then went on to graduate from Whitireia Performing Arts, Wellington Performing Arts Screen Acting, and the CMAA Academy of Country Music. I have performed many gigs, from Weddings to War-Zones. I write my own music and lyrics, and am currently mixing my debut album Betty.
I find inspiration all around me, including from my whānau, especially my 8 year old son, who inspires me to be a better human.
I try to make my music representative of myself. I love the places that music can take you, like a good book, a movie, a journey.
Music has to take me somewhere, I create music that is relatable, melodic, and vocally driven.
